The Platform
This is my Promise
"In February 2025 after careful deliberation I decided to run for Boston City Council District 4. My decision to campaign for this seat is multifaceted. First, I believe that the privilege of holding any elected office is a term of service. A service open for all citizens to participate. Our participation in our own local community & affairs makes for a strong community. Without our individual engagement there is no Democracy. I believe this principle to be paramount right down to the smallest municipal government. DEMOCRACY IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT! It only works when we all take part. Whichever level you choose to engage is up to you. Whether we are volunteering with a campaign or campaigning for office, all are individually and equally important. Secondly, I feel a representative should be the face and voice of their community. They should engage in a way that puts a face to their community and finds the overlooked people within and advocates for them. Right now there are members of my community that have no idea who represents them in their district or what that even entails. I would like to change that. I would like the chance to advocate for the people in my community of Boston, my people. My experience, background and relationships I've built in my community through the many years make me a strong candidate for this seat. Listen, the election is a ways to go and I have no illusions of the moment. This is an up hill battle and I have a lot of issues to navigate. I do however, promise to do my best with honesty and integrity! This is my promise."
